School has formed a Bachelor - Master - PhD three-level of high-level personnel training pattern. In 1982, the first undergraduate major was founded. In 2003, it got the Master’s degree authorization qualification. In 2012, the Doctor’s degree talents training project was approved by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee, and was granted the Doctor’s degree authorization qualifications of Materials Science and Engineering. School cultivates more than 400 high-level undergraduate talents with applied skills every year, more than 100 postgraduates, a number of whom grow into technology and management backbones in large and medium-sized enterprises both at home and abroad. Several alumni have won the State Labor Medal.
